Office for International Affairs in the City of New York

  • Key advisor to the Commissioner on political, programmatic, and administrative matters.

Women’s Officer - St. Antony’s College, Oxford University

  • Spearheaded the planning, organization, and execution of women-led projects and events to promote inclusivity and gender equity.

  • Developed and implemented strategies to ensure the availability of sanitary products throughout the college.


United Nations - UNFCCC “Race to Zero Campaign”

  • Assisted with the research, coordination, and organization of the UN Climate Change’s ‘Race to Zero’ consultation process.

  • Reviewed and summarized relevant literature, summarized written submissions, drafted options for criteria revisions, organized zoom meeting, and recorded meeting minutes.  


Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence

  • Implemented and managed educational sessions on healthy relationships for high school students, with a focus on an intersectional and social justice-oriented approach.

  • Successfully orchestrated a workshop titled “Social Justice Approach to Violence Prevention,” engaging and educating over 100 participants.

  • Actively participated in community-based meetings and events centered around social justice, youth development, and other relevant topics.

 United Nations - OHRLLS

  • Assisted in planning, coordinating, and organizing UN Ocean Conference events to highlight the effects on climate change.

  • Documented senior-level meetings, analyzed reports, and conducted research on the consequences of climate change on least developed countries.

  • Researched and created graphics posted to official UN-OHRLLS social media accounts and exhibited at the Ocean Conference.


Grady Newsource

  • Worked on a live daily newscast serving Northeast Georgia, an area of 1.3 million people, alternating weekly as reporter, anchor, producer, and assignment editor.

  • Reported, shot, wrote, and edited packages live from the scene and used portable equipment -- including light kits, microphones, and tripod.

  • Planned and supervised newscast and assigned reporters stories to cover.


CNN

  • Conducted in-depth research on South American markets to evaluate potential partnerships, contributing valuable insights to strategic decision-making.

  • Played a pivotal role in fostering multicultural communication by translating stories for CNN en Español, facilitating effective engagement with Spanish-speaking audiences.

  • Assisted in the development of advertising campaigns, actively contributing to the marketing and public relations efforts of the company.


Sagal Radio Services

  • Organized programs on community development and involvement for residents and refugees to integrate into the community.

  • Co-hosted a weekly live radio broadcast about education, news, and other pressing issues for Clarkston’s residents and refugees.

  • Served as host and moderator of the 2013 City of Clarkston Mayoral Debate.


The Sentinel Newspaper

  • Interviewed a variety of people – from singer / songwriters to the director of marketing at CNN en Español.

  • Reported on a lecture given by the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, and represented The Sentinel at the following press conference.

  • Co-wrote an article about the president's visit to KSU that made the front cover of The Sentinel.
